Bespoke plantrooms keep King’s busy!

It’s been a busy couple of months for the Engineers here at King’s Mildenhall site with a host of orders for tailor-made boiler plantrooms going through the workshops.

Latest units to be completed were four separate custom built plantrooms containing hot water boilers ranging in size from 200kW to 2,000kW going to clients in Dorset, South Yorkshire, Cardiff and Suffolk.

With each unit being individually finished to the client’s specific requirements every job is different and our Engineers take great pride in being able to deliver a quality, custom built plantroom to suit that particular client’s needs.

Our plantrooms range from 3m to 9m long, are secure and weather proof, house steam or hot water boilers and come complete with feed water tank, blow down vessel, chemical dosing pump and water softener as required.

We can deliver the plantroom of your choice anywhere in the UK, direct from our Suffolk workshops to your site ready for installation and commissioning far quicker than it would take to order a new boiler.... so is it any wonder King’s Engineers are kept busy.

Congratulations to Brandon Town u14s who have been putting on some outstanding performances of late, notably claiming a recent 7-3 away victory over Mulbarton Wanderers u14 team. Despite a brilliant second half, last week’s match against East Harling u14s ended with 2-1 defeat. However, Brandon’s players should all be proud of their sharp, strong and composed game. There were several stand-out moments, but player of the match was awarded to Caden, who gave a strong performance in his first appearance in defence and showed great confidence.

Well done everyone.
We all look forward to the away game at Stalham.

EXPERIENCED HGV DRIVER MILDENHALL, SUFFOLK
C&E, C (Class 1 & 2) and Lorry Loader- Hook

The King Group are leading suppliers of industrial steam and hot water boiler plant. We sell and hire industrial boiler plant throughout the UK and operate our own in-house delivery vehicles.

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 & 2 HGV DRIVER with C&E, C and Lorry Loader- Hook for our 6 wheel rigid with lifter and 6 wheel tractor unit with trailer combinations. Applicants should be capable of carrying out daily checks on our HGV’s and trailers to ensure they are roadworthy and to prepare our fleet of trailers ready for MOT test. Based in Mildenhall, Suffolk the successful applicant will have the ability to work professionally and safely to deadlines as part of a busy team with occasional nights away.

You would carry out HGV driving duties including delivering and collecting industrial boilers, plant and machinery as required using our 6 wheel tractor unit and 6 wheel rigid vehicle with lorry-mounted lifter, with trailer combinations. In your capacity as HGV driver you will be required to possess and use digital tachograph card and driver’s CPC card, carry out daily checks on vehicles/trailers, ensuring deliveries/collections are made in a professional and timely manner, whilst maintaining excellent communication with your manager/team. When not driving you would be expected to assist generally in the workshop.

Key requirements:

- Experience as C&E, C (Class 1 & 2) HGV/ Hiab driver with current
lifter certification
- Have no more than 6 points on your full, UK licence (no DR, DD or
IN codes)
- Possess digital tachograph card & drivers CPC card & have full
understanding of tachograph legislation
- Operate professionally and safely within current driving
regulations
- Ensure deliveries/collections made in a timely manner
- Provide excellent communication with Manager/team members
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service
- Ensure good, professional self-presentation
- Forklift cert advantageous
- Ability to carry out daily checks on vehicles
