Belgium Duo Christophe Jacob and Isabelle Regnier claimed victory on the first round of the FIA European Historic Gravel Rally Championship in Portugal, driving their Es**rt RS1800 fitted with a Wilcox 2 litre Kugelfischer Injected BDG engine. As the season comes to an end 3 teams competed in New Zealand on the Silver Fern Rally 7 days with a 1000km of stages, all cars finished led by Grant Shand navigated by his daughters finishing 11th overall in their Kugelfischer Injected BDG Es**rt, followed by Daniel Alonso/ Candido Carrera from Spain 13th overall in their BDG Es**rt and winning the 1600 class, 19th overall was David Young/Douglas Young in their Es**rt Mexico fitted with an all steel dry sump Crossflow engine . Well done to all teams

As the last round of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship for 2024 came to a close in Greece on the Acropolis Rally, Christophe Jacob/Isabelle Regnier and the 1 lone service crew battled to hold 5th overall after the first leg. As the second leg started an axle change was required giving the team time penalties costing them 4th place. The team continued setting two fourth quickest times and were never out of the top 8 stage times through out the event. A satisfying finish to a long challenging season giving Christophe Jacob/ Isabelle Regnier and service team 5th Overall, 1st in class D1(1st 2 Litre) and 2nd in category 3 cars from 1975 to 1981 on the European Championship, only to be beaten by a Cosworth Sierra 4x4, BMW M3, Toyota Celica GT4 and an Audi Quattro. A good finish to the season for the Kugelfisher Injected 2 litre BDG , Congratulations to crew and team.
