The Ridgeway Structures team were appointed to design, fabricate, and install a new fire escape staircase for Shalcott Hall Residential Home in Weston-super-Mare.

With a tight turnaround required, the team moved quickly to deliver a complete solution, without disrupting the day-to-day operation of the home.

Once installed, we were also asked to complete the finishing touches, including:

✔ Full staircase painting
✔ Yellow anti-slip stair nosings for improved grip and visibility

The result: a safe, durable fire escape system delivered efficiently, professionally, and with residents’ needs front of mind.

🚨𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿t 🚨

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵.

The Ridgeway Structures team have come to completion on this massive access ramp for Royal Mail.

Standing at nearly 80 metres long, this ramp provides an easy journey for Royal mail employees to move their letter and parcel trolleys from ground floor to 1st floor at a slight degree to make their work easier.

With a few a few obstacles along the way, the Ridgeway Structures team found a way around them to make a very happy client. And in a very busy workplace, the team did not disrupt the daily operations of the royal mail.
