And for our final act... we’ll be powder coating.

Alongside our in house fabrication services, we’ve invested in our own surface finishing capabilities, covering everything from three stage iron phosphate pre treatment through to specialist paint finishes and screen printing!

Keeping these processes under one roof means we can stay closer to the finished part and keep a good eye on quality right through to the final finish. ⭐

Dimensional checks are carried out at key stages throughout production, helping us verify measurements against customer drawings, identify variation early and maintain consistency across repeat batches.

With cutting, forming, welding, inserting and finishing all carried out in-house, we can maintain closer control as components move from one process to the next.

Our latest delivery coming through the Edward Pearson Press Brake. 🤩

Running heavier materials like this stainless steel sheet is exactly the type of work the Pearson is made for. Its rigid frame and strong hydraulic system apply consistent force across the full width of the machine, keeping bends accurate and repeatable when running heavy duty materials.

With the forming complete, these parts are ready to head over to powder coating for the next stage!

Did you know we're a specialist cryogenic vessel manufacturer?

A few years ago, we invested in a separate manufacturing site so we could focus solely on the fabrication of leak tested cryogenic vessels, with the right welding, machining, testing and finishing all carried out in one place.

Having everything together means each vessel moves through the workshop from fabrication to final testing before it's ready to leave us. 👌

Monday morning grinding is underway as these fabricated components are prepared for powder coating.

Following forming, welding and insertion, grinding removes weld spatter and prepares the surface for a consistent coating finish.

With forming, fabrication, finishing and assembly all carried out under one roof, we keep production moving efficiently from raw material through to completed parts. 👌

Before this project heads over to the machining department, the team are carrying out one final review to make sure everything is exactly as it should be.
