Last quarter, we announced that we’d expanded the Cases team by 20%, but we wanted to show you what that’s meant for us on the shop floor.

As well as bringing talented new people into the team, the expansion has increased our capacity, allowing us to keep projects moving through each stage of production while taking on more work at the same time.

We’re now seeing the benefits of that growth across the shop floor, reflecting the year-on-year growth we’ve been building over time.

A capacity like this is hard to ignore! 🤩

With 18 welding stations ready for another busy day, there’s no shortage of sparks flying, bays in use and torches getting to work.

Across those stations, the team can handle TIG, MIG, spot, gas and stud welding in-house, giving us the capacity to take on different types of welding work while keeping multiple projects moving through the workshop.

After going through the full process in-house - design, fabrication, powder coating - these blue enclosures are now on the assembly bench, where the final parts are being fitted before inspection.

Good design can save time further down the line.

That’s why we keep design and manufacturing under one roof, giving customers a quicker way to take a project from initial design through to production.

If something needs adjusting along the way, we can respond quickly without sending drawings or parts back and forth between different suppliers, helping keep everything moving towards the finished product.

Final touches done right. 🙌

The finish matters just as much as the fabrication. Once manufactured, parts can go straight into our powder coating facility without leaving the workshop.

Managing both stages under one roof keeps production moving, ready for assembly or dispatch without unnecessary handling or delays.

New month, new projects in production.

The team are working together on CNC folding, forming components accurately to drawing as another fabrication project gets underway.

With a busy month ahead, we’re closely monitoring production schedules, material stock and delivery dates to maintain a consistent flow through the workshop.

And for our final act... we’ll be powder coating.

Alongside our in house fabrication services, we’ve invested in our own surface finishing capabilities, covering everything from three stage iron phosphate pre treatment through to specialist paint finishes and screen printing!

Keeping these processes under one roof means we can stay closer to the finished part and keep a good eye on quality right through to the final finish. ⭐

We never second guess quality, and our digital caliper knows it!

Making sure fabricated parts meet specification starts long before final inspection.

Dimensional checks are carried out at key stages throughout production, helping us verify measurements against customer drawings, identify variation early and maintain consistency across repeat batches.

With cutting, forming, welding, inserting and finishing all carried out in-house, we can maintain closer control as components move from one process to the next.

It all helps ensure finished parts leave the workshop exactly as specified. 🤝
