These recent wins are due to major redevelopment and makeover of our High Wycombe premises which has ultra-modernised our offices and in particular given our training facilities and digital manufacturing departments a new lease of life. Courses are presented weekly in our International Education Centre which boasts customised purpose-built new laboratory, a bright refreshing seminar room for presentations and lectures, plus a relaxing break out dining area. 3Shape, GC, Heraeus Kulzer, Ivoclar Vivadent, Merz Dental, Myerson and Noritake are just some of the manufacturers who choose Skillbond’s training facility to promote CPD for technicians. We now offer digital manufacturing in a number of alloys and materials such as DPM (Digital Precious Metal), SLM (Selective Laser Melted), milled Zirconia or Wax, milled Temps or printed Models, RPDs (removable partials in a range of materials) and e.max CAD, all you do is scan and supply us with the stl file. We still stock and supply over 35,000 traditional products exclusively for the dental laboratory technician, the range includes porcelains, diestones, investments, diamonds, burs, teeth, laboratory equipment and furniture from the world’s leading manufacturers. We are competitively priced and orders are always sent by Next Day delivery. The day's focus was on the various crown and bridge indications within 3Shape, giving students a fantastic opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice by transferring the analogue skills they have developed throughout the year into a seamless digital workflow.

We explored key disciplines including tooth forms, occlusion, and function, helping students understand how these fundamental principles translate into successful digital designs. It was great to see their creativity and technical skills come together as their digital restorations began to take shape. 💻🔬
