A great story for the rallying enthusiasts within our network…

A True rallying legend returned to the stages this week. We are delighted to report that the iconic Works Ford Es**rt HHJ703N took part in this year’s Rallylegend San Marino, joining an incredible line-up of historic rally machinery from motorsport’s golden era. Few cars evoke the spirit of rallying quite like HHJ703N. Its remarkable competition history and enduring reputation have cemented its place as one of the most recognisable Works Es**rts ever built.

Adding another special connection to this year’s apperance is the link to Logic’s late founder, Willie Rutherford, whose time behind the wheel of HHJ703N forms part of the car’s rich and fascinating story. His association with this legendary Es**rt remains a proud chapter in both the car’s history and the wider rallying heritage it represents. The car is presented in San Marino by father and son Stuart and James Hastings and Brian Spearman, lifelong friends of Willie. Fans once again had the oportunity to see, hear and celebrate a true icon of the sport in action. James Hastings drove the car with his father Stuart in the co driver’s seat over some challenging stages to finish 9th in the Historic class, a fantastic result for the car’s first outing since it’s restoration.
