It’s Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

At HFT, we know how important it is to support the wellbeing of our team.

Many of our engineers work remotely, so staying connected and checking in with each other really matters. In September, we’ll be welcoming to one of our Engineer Meetings to talk about mental health and the importance of support and conversation.

We’re also lucky to have a brilliant Social Committee that organises events throughout the year, including family days out and company socials, helping everyone stay connected outside of work too.

Another successful delivery completed! 👏

We have recently supplied a new fleet of trucks to and the feedback from their operators has been brilliant.

They are especially impressed with the manoeuvrability, power and auto tilt centring which is making daily tasks quicker and easier.

The 4-tonne truck has been fitted with a wide fork positioner, perfect for handling their wider steel loads, along with half cabs for weather protection and FTC access control for added security.

Meet Samantha from our HFT Store team! 👋

We asked Sam a few questions about what she enjoys most about working at HFT…

“What I love most about store is that no two days are ever the same. Whether I’m helping customers find the right products for their needs or heading out on-site to build strong relationships, the variety of the role keeps me motivated and engaged.”

Right now Sam’s go-to product is our flood defence barriers, they are a great way to help protect businesses and property during this more frequent unpredictable weather.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her:
🐾 Training her German Shepherds
🍰 Baking in the kitchen
🙌 Volunteering with the Scouts
