All of the refurbished machines are completely stripped to the chassis and they then undergo a deep clean, they have complete descale and all seals are replaced, the groups serviced an

d any worn parts replaced. They all come with a 3 month warranty and have a new certified boiler pressure relief valve fitted. When available we also supply commercial grinders like Mazzer, Ceado,Eureka and many more. We can supply all of the above nationwide, packaged on a pallet via a courier or we will deliver within Cornwall ourselves.Should we not have a particular machine available that you are interested in, we can source one for you from our suppliers nationwide. We will shortly have available a couple of Espresso carts available to hire, which can come with or without a trained Barista.They are traditional wooden carts, which look very smart and elegant and a perfect for events where space is limited or vehicular access is restricted.More information will be posted when these become available but feel free to enquire further. Refurbished Astoria Perla DUAL FUEL 2 Group Espresso Coffee Machine £1995 plus VAT

The machine has undergone our in house refurbishment and is currently running on the workbench, with no body panels attached. When the test run has completed in a week, we will fit the panels and take some pictures. The machine is the same model, spec and colours as in the pictures.

As part of our in house refurbishments, the machine has undergone a major overhaul.
The machine has been completely stripped to the frame, deep cleaned and all brass and copper parts acid cleaned and descaled. All the gaskets, o rings, seals, filters etc have been replaced with new. In addition plenty of new parts including flowmeters, group solenoid valves, inlet solenoid valve, heating element, pump, safety valves, brass diffusers and all the gas components have been replaced with new. It also comes with 3 new portafilter’s (handles).

The boiler capacity in this machine is 10.5 litres. As the machine is DUAL FUEL, it can be run on LPG, electric or both combined. The machines electric heating boiler element is currently set to 2KW which can be run from a 13amp power supply. This can be uprated to 3.9KW should you prefer this.

The machine comes with a VAT invoice, a 6 month warranty and a written Pressure Vessel Report (PSSR) which is valid for 14 months.

Delivery Nationwide via pallet or collection is fine. We also ship overseas. Please ask for an accurate price with a Pallet courier. Alternatively you can collect from Porthleven in Cornwall.

We can offer installation in Cornwall and you are welcome to bring your mobile unit to our premises for installation. Our gas engineer can provide a gas certificate when we have installed the machine.
We also liaise with other professional espresso engineers in various parts of the UK whom can fit the machine should you not have an engineer available. If you’re interested in this service, please enquire to see if we can recommend an engineer and give an installation price.

In addition we can offer a package deal with the machine including new grinder, additional Portafilters, filtration units, knock boxes, milk jugs etc, etc

We don’t often come across these. They are great for mobile units that are short on space but ideally still need the 2 group heads.

The machine is dual fuel, so can run on either LPG, electric or both combined. The electric heating, if used, can run from on 13amp.

This is the perfect machine for busy outside catering events or busy premises, that need a Dual Fuel machine. If you are finding that your 2 group machine can’t quite cope with the demand and its getting drained of hot water and steam, this is what you need. The downtime waiting for the boiler to reheat can be very costly.

The boiler capacity in this machine is 21 litres compared to an average 2 group machine that is 10 litres, so more than twice the capacity!
As the machine is DUAL FUEL, it can be run on LPG, electric or both combined. The huge burner tube provides quick heating when solely on LPG. The machines electric heating element is currently set at 2KW which can be run from a 13amp power supply. Perfect if you needed that extra oomph or LPG is running low and you have a limited power supply. The electric heating element can easily be re-wired to either 4 or 6KW should you require this.

Astoria 4 Group Dual Fuel Espresso Coffee Machine (LPG and Electric) New (unused) £3500 plus VAT

These are really rare machines, especially as the tall takeaway cup versions with the raised slide out cup trays.
The huge boiler ensures that at even the busiest event you should not run out of steam and hot water. The large gas burner keeps the boiler heated to the max. Should you wish, the machine can be run with electric heating, LPG heating or both combined, for extra quick heating.

This machine has never been used, not made a single espresso and it’s been stored in its original packaging. The manufacture date is 2010 but this is brand new inside and out. We have serviced it and had them running on the workbench for a few weeks. These are a bargain and a necessity for any busy establishment or where you can comfortably have two Barista’s working side by side on the machine.

The machine comes with a new and boxed external water pump motor and new Portafilters and baskets.

A VAT invoice and a written Pressure Vessel Report (PSSR) will be provided.

Delivery Nationwide via pallet or collection is fine. Please ask for an accurate Pallet courier price.

It’s been over 5 years since last posting…obviously social media just isn’t my forte 😂!!

For the past few years I’ve only been working part time on the Commercial Espresso Machines. This is predominantly due to other work/business commitments. I have still been looking after machines for some of my original and long standing customers, carrying out services, repairs, Pressure Vessel Inspections as well as selling some refurbished machines & grinders. The plan was to gradually wind down, not chasing any new leads or customers. BUT I enjoy working on Commercial Espresso machines, too much so to just quit completely.
I have still been refurbishing and supplying machines and will continue to keep doing so. They are predominantly Dual Fuel machines. These machines are often installed in mobile catering trailers, converted horse boxes etc.
I have refurbished and supplied hundreds of Dual Fuel machines over the years, quite a few of them being shipped worldwide and had so many happy customers coming back to purchase further machines, for their expanding businesses.

In addition to the above mentioned, I love working on Vintage/Antique Espresso machines. Many of these machines no longer have parts or fittings available, they are now obsolete and unobtainable. As I often machine new parts, carry out brazing work on fittings and creating new pipe work etc I am often able to bring beautiful, old, vintage machines back to life. I will eventually look to be supplying these Refurbished Antiques but can also look to give your loved, vintage machine a new lease of life.

I’m still booking in the odd days each month to carry out Pressure Vessel inspections which come with a written report. While carrying these out inspections I can combine them with on site servicing and also book in workshop servicing. Get in touch if I can help you out.
