From Fragmented to Flowing. As featured in Architecture Magazine, this before and after case study - showcases how a North Yorkshire farmhouse renovation started with a staircase replacement in mind - but turned into so much more.
Bisca was introduced to work with the project's architect and interior designer early in the project - changing the trajectory of the scheme. Rather than the staircase being constrained by the layout - it was used to inform circulation, structure and the sensitive relationship between light, movement and aesthetics.
