A complete camera and lighting installation on this new suction vehicle at Mammoth MTS | Trenchless Technology
The vehicle has been prepared for JCG Suction Excavation with a system designed around how a suction excavator is actually used, rather than simply fitting equipment wherever it is easiest.
The installation includes:
✅ A four-camera system
✅ High-mounted side camera positioned further along the body
✅ Four work lamps around the working areas
✅ Two additional reverse work lamps
✅ Five high-visibility strobes integrated into the grille
✅ Kelsa bar with additional lighting
The positioning of the side camera is particularly important. Mounting it higher and further along the body provides a clearer view down the side of the vehicle and across the working area, while also keeping the camera away from the most vulnerable positions for damage and pressure washing.
The additional work and reverse lighting gives the operator much better visibility when working in dark or poorly lit areas, while the grille strobes and illuminated Kelsa bar make the vehicle far more visible to everyone around it.
Cameras, work lighting and warning lighting, all planned and installed as one complete solution.
