We sell, design, manufacture, test, CE mark, and dispatch; all from our sole factory in the UK. Premier Labellers was established in 1994 and has been supplying reliable world class labelling machine solutions across the world ever since. During this time we have grown from our humble roots on a farm in Harwich, to our new production facility on Bathside Bay. All Premier labellers have been develo

ped through experience resulting in a comprehensive and versatile range of solutions; built to meet the particular needs of each industry. Each of our labelling machine systems are designed and manufactured to British and CE standards, in Britain and built to last; this means that as your business moves forward, we will always be there to support you and your investment. We have an open house policy and welcome all our customers to visit us and develop excellent working relationships with all our staff, as we believe this has been a vital element of our success to date. We offer free advice on all self-adhesive labelling applications and are always happy to conduct labelling trials and tests on new products to demonstrate the levels of accuracy our labelling systems can provide.

This week, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Matt, one of our expert Service Engineers, back to Premier HQ! 🚐

While Matt is primarily based in Wales, he’s a true road warrior, traveling across the country to keep our customers' labelling machines in peak condition. This week, however, he’s parked the van to lend his technical hands to our very own unscrambler.

Matt has been deep-diving into the mechanics to give our unscrambling machine a serious boost in efficiency and speed.

It’s been a huge help having his specialised skills on-site to help us level up our operations.

From 1960s roots to a workspace we’re truly proud to call our own.

When we first moved into our workshop in the early 2000s, it had already stood for decades with very little change. Fast forward to the year our CEO Tracie took the reins, and everything changed.

This transformation wasn’t just about a fresh look. It was about creating a space where our team can thrive, and where every customer who walks through the door feels the difference.

We opened up the entire layout, brought in natural light with full-length windows, installed modern electrics, a brand-new compressed air system, ergonomic flooring, and flexible mobile workstations. From new welding bays to upgraded heating and a complete redesign of our stores, every detail was built with purpose.

The result? A brighter, smarter, more efficient workshop designed for the future, and for the people who make it what it is every day.

Part of a wider £1M investment across the site, this upgrade marked a major milestone in our journey, and this before & after says it all.
