*correction - after a recount we actually had 2 players on 66 points (3rd Place), in the event of a draw the highest amount of correct scores, then results will be considered. Acker got 13 correct scores and Tommy got 10. So the 3rd Place goes to Acker!

We also did a guess of how many goals you thought would be scored in all of the group games. The total goals scored in all 72 games was 215. Our closest guess was Christina Colman who guessed 214. Well done to you, a little something is on its way to you!

Only 2 days left to the start of the World Cup, get your predictor sheets in by Thursday.

Charles Dickens & Logo To Go are doing a World Cup 2026 Predictor Sheet.

Pop in the shop to grab your predictor sheets. You can join our game with £5 entry and all money goes back out to the winners, so 60% to 1st place, 30% to 2nd place and 10% to 3rd place.

There are 48 teams in the World Cup with 72 games being played in the group stages. Why not play along and guess what each score will be in all of the group games. You will get 3 points if you get the correct score, 1 point if you guess the right way and 0 points for everything else. maximum points per game is 3. £5 entry to play for the prize pot. We will do regular leader boards during the group stages to keep track of how everyone’s doing.

Completed forms must be returned by 5pm Thursday 11th June 2026 with payment otherwise you will not be entered.

if you just want to play along for fun at home you are welcome to take a predictor sheet from the shop.
