A successful day of PipeBots testing at STARs in North Yorkshire! 👏

Yesterday, we welcomed representatives from Thames Water, David Walters and Dylan Lewis, along with Professor Kirill Horoshenkov from the The University of Sheffield, to our testing facility for a day of in-pipe testing of the PipeBots For Rising Mains platform. 💪

The session saw the development team successfully launch the robot, deploy it over a significant distance, and collect valuable inspection data. The trials provided some excellent results and, a number of key insights to help shape the next stages of development. ✔️

A big thank you to David, Dylan, and Kirill for joining us. We look forward to continuing our work together and driving the project forward.

🎉 What a fantastic day at the Leeds 10K!

A huge congratulations to everyone from our Synthoteam who took part. Completing a 10K is a brilliant achievement, and between gasping for breath we all had a fantastic time! 👏

We'd also like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising campaign for Mind UK. Your generosity has helped us raise vital funds for a charity that provides essential support to people experiencing mental health challenges across the UK. ❤️

"The PipeMic is quickly becoming my favourite tool" 🙌

High praise from Metro Plumb in Harlow, Essex! The team were skeptical when they invested in our PipeMic Flex V2 in-pipe leak detection system, but clearly those doubts are being put to rest!

On this job, the team were able to line trace the suspected leaking pipe using the built in sonde, and quickly and easily locate and repair the leak using the PipeMic system. 🔍

The whole job was done and dusted in under 4 hours.

Great result for the team, we're certain the kit will continue to perform and smash expectations. 🥳

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ The Synthotech team is taking on the Leeds 10K to support Mind UK and help raise awareness of mental health.

Mental health impacts people from all walks of life, and charities like Mind provide vital support to those who need it. 🩹

We had a fantastic time learning, educating and showcasing at the The Pipeline Industries Guild Annual Conference yesterday! 🎓

Several of our colleagues were in attendance, including our Gas Sales Manager Andrew Sparkes, our Marketing Executive Alicia Bowyer, and our Commercial Director Andy Vine.

We spent the day showcasing a range of our inspection, maintenance and repair solutions for gas and water pipelines, networking with fellow professionals in the utility industries, and Andy Vine gave an excellent talk on supply chain management in utility industries and our robotic leak repair platform STASS. 👨🏻‍🏫

Thank you to PIG for hosting us. The annual guild conference is always a fantastic opportunity for gaining new insights and sharing expertise in our industry. 👏
