A fantastic week at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026.

The Earthmill team has returned from Hamburg after a highly productive few days at one of the wind industry’s leading global events.

It was great to reconnect with suppliers and partners, strengthen relationships across our repowering supply chain, and meet potential new clients. We also explored developments in battery storage and complementary technologies that could create further opportunities for our customers.

A big thank you to everyone who met with the team. We look forward to building on the conversations started in Hamburg.

Using Anemos Analytics Condition Monitoring System (CMS), rising vibration was detected on the bedframe and main bearing of an Endurance E3120 turbine at one of our client’s wind farms in North Wales, close to the site of a previous weld repair.

Further investigation identified cracking within the weld, early enough for
the team to act before it developed into a potentially serious and costly failure. Rather than dealing with an emergency shutdown, the turbine could continue operating safely while the repair was planned for calmer summer conditions.

For turbine owners, this is where condition monitoring really proves its value:

🔧 Earlier identification of developing faults
⏱️ Reduced risk of unexpected downtime
💷 Lower potential repair and failure costs
📅 Maintenance planned around the turbine owner, rather than dictated by
an emergency
