We are looking to expand our team and looking to recruit a HGV driver with experience of loading, unloading and securing of plant machinery.
Main duties to include:
· Deliver and collect varying types of plant across the Yorkshire area and further afield
· Maintain vehicle to a high standard and follow procedures in place to ensure compliance
· Carry out other duties where required to aid the smooth running of the business
· High level of service and commitment
· Help colleagues when needed
· Rate of pay dependent upon experience
· 39 hours a week but flexibility is needed- sometimes earlier starts / late finishes needed
Essential
Demonstrable experience of HGV vehicle for a minimum of 2 years
Experience of loading and securing plant machinery specifically, including excavators ranging from 1.5 ton machines to 14ton machines, telehandlers, dumpers and rollers
Full clean driving licence
Class 2 licence
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 39 per week plus overtime
