🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ACCESSAFE IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS! 💪

It’s been a productive week for Accessafe UK Ltd, with our Project Manager, Luke Sheppard, travelling from Birmingham to the beautiful Scottish Highlands to get started on a new project at the Port of Nigg.

Working alongside our subcontractor HFBC, Luke and the team have made a fantastic start, with plenty achieved during the first phase of the project.

Building strong working relationships, collaborating with our partners, and delivering for our customers is what we’re all about at Accessafe. This project is no exception, and there’s plenty more to come! 👏

A special mention to everyone Luke has met along the way. The warm welcome and friendliness of the Scottish people have made the trip all the more enjoyable!

After a long week away, it’s time for Luke to head home to his family before we look ahead to the next phase of the project.

𝗔 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 – 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗦𝗥 𝟭𝟵𝟬 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

It’s always rewarding to see a new product move from launch to a completed installation!

Just 6–7 months after introducing our 𝗕𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, we’re pleased to share the successful completion of our very first installation of 𝗚𝗦𝗥 𝟭𝟵𝟬 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀.

And the momentum doesn’t stop there!

We’ve also recently supplied other customers with products from the BUMP range, including:

🔸 𝗕𝗢 𝟭𝟵𝟬 – Protection Bollards

These customers have opted to carry out their own installations.

What makes this latest project particularly satisfying is seeing how well our BUMP impact protection range complements our 𝗨𝗞-𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, bringing machine guarding and impact protection together as part of a more comprehensive industrial safety solution.

It’s encouraging to see customers embracing the range so soon after launch, and we look forward to seeing many more installations across UK manufacturing and warehouse environments.

🚧 Another successful Accessafe installation completed today! 🚧

This time, our team headed up to Cheshire, where the client needed to segregate their stores area and create secure, controlled access.

From design through to installation, the whole project was delivered within just one week — demonstrating how quickly our modular system can be designed, adapted and installed to meet a customer’s requirements.

🔹 The system was divided into four sections between existing stanchions
🔹 Where space was particularly tight, our team cut the mesh panels on site to achieve the required fit
🔹 We also cut a dedicated hatch into the mesh, allowing the stores person to conveniently hand items through without needing to open the main access doors
🔹 Edging rubber was fitted around the cut mesh and hatch to give a neat, clean and professional finish
🔹 A roller-bearing sliding door was installed along the front, providing a 2.1m opening for forklift access
🔹 A 1m pedestrian access door was installed to the side for everyday personnel access

And the best part?

👷‍♂️ Two installers. Five hours. Installation complete.

The client was extremely happy with both our product and service and was very complimentary about the whole experience.

🔩 Another project successfully completed but this one had a little something extra!

Another busy installation completed by the Accessafe UK team, this time in Oxfordshire.

This project combined our standard modular guarding system of panels and posts with a bespoke solution designed and manufactured with the expertise of our parent company, Sponmech Safety Systems.

The client had specified particular heights within the project requirements, meaning a standard solution wasn’t quite enough. Working with Sponmech, we were able to design and manufacture a bespoke roof structure to meet the requirements of the project.

The finished secure cage measures 3.2m x 3.2m and incorporates double access doors providing a 2045mm opening, giving the customer both the security and accessibility they required.

🚐 The lads were on the road at 6:30am, heading down to Oxfordshire, and managed to complete the entire installation in an impressive 5 hours.

Even better they were back in the yard by 3pm and straight back to work, helping make sure the following day’s orders were packed and ready to go.

It’s a great example of what we can achieve by combining standard modular guarding, bespoke design and manufacturing expertise, and a hardworking installation team.

🚧 Another busy and productive week at Accessafe UK HQ! 🚧

It’s been another full-on week for the team, with two more installations completed, alongside a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes.

🔧 Installation 1 – Machine Safety Upgrade

One of this week’s installations involved reworking a project we had recently completed. Following a review, our customer needed to make further changes to bring their machinery in line with the appropriate health & safety standards.

With the support and expertise of our Director, who is NEBOSH qualified, we were able to advise the customer on the additional measures required and work with them to bring the machine up to an acceptable standard.

It’s a great example of how we don’t just supply and install a product — we work with our customers to find the right solution for their specific safety requirements.

🔋 Installation 2 – Solar Battery Storage Protection

Our second installation was completed this morning, with the team onsite for an impressive 2.5 hours! 💪

We installed a protective cage around a brand-new solar battery storage system. The customer has made a significant investment in the equipment and wanted to ensure that it was protected from unauthorised access or interference.

Another bespoke solution, designed and installed to give the customer peace of mind. ✅

📦 And the warehouse hasn’t exactly been quiet either!

Alongside our installation work, Accessafe has delivered over 15 pallets of orders directly to customers this week, while also taking delivery of a full articulated lorry load of stock into our warehouse.

So, from design and advice, through to manufacturing supply, delivery and installation — it’s been a seriously busy week!

🏗️ PROJECT COMPLETE | 87 METRES OF 3M-HIGH SEGREGATION

Following on from our post last week, we’re pleased to share the completed installation.

This project has delivered 87 metres of 3-metre-high segregation, covering the full facility and creating a substantial, robust separation system designed around the customer’s specific requirements.

📊 The numbers behind the project:

🔹 53 × 3m-high posts
🔹 108 panels
🔹 3 × single 1m pedestrian doors
🔹 87 metres of segregation
🔹 3.5 days installation time
🔹 2-man installation team

🔩 Built for strength. Built to last.

Every post has been securely fixed using four through-bolts, while the panels have been assembled using our own Accessafe screw fixing system — creating a strong, secure and serviceable modular solution.

What’s particularly impressive is that our two-man installation team completed the full 87-metre installation in just three and a half days, demonstrating the efficiency of the Accessafe modular system and the experience of our installation team.

And there’s more to come…

The end user was extremely happy with the finished installation and is now looking forward to having their specialist door locking systems retrofitted to the Accessafe system.

For us, that’s a real compliment.

This is the third project we have completed for this customer, and being selected and named as their preferred supplier is something the whole Accessafe team can be proud of.

From the initial sales conversation, through design, manufacture, supply and installation, this project has been a genuine team effort.

🚧 Another project taking shape for Accessafe UK!

We’re currently installing a sheet steel partition system, using 3m-high posts combined with a selection of panels to create a robust, practical partition solution.

What makes this project particularly pleasing for us is that it’s the 3rd project we’ve delivered for this client. 👏
