Behind the scenes during the pre-fit stage for Falcon at the Museum of the Broads.

Bespoke stainless steel canopy framework fabricated by GLF Steel Fabrication for this unique heritage marine project.

Each section was carefully pre-fitted to ensure accuracy, alignment and a clean final installation while preserving the character of the original vessel.

Proud to contribute to projects that support traditional craftsmanship on the Norfolk Broads.

GLF Steel has now successfully completed the move into our new, larger workshop in Catfield – marking an exciting new chapter for the business.

The new space gives us improved workflow, expanded marine capabilities and the ability to take on larger and more complex projects moving forward ⚓

We’re now in the final steps of moving into our new workshop… 🔧

The move has been happening in stages, including relocating our polishing shop to ensure everything is set up exactly how we need it.

The best part?

There’s been absolutely 𝒏𝒐 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 to our services – it’s business as usual while we make the transition 💪

Our new workshop marks a major step forward in how we support marine clients.

We now have the space to carry out 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐧-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞, with room to accommodate smaller vessels inside the workshop and a large yard area to work on bigger boats externally.

This allows customers to bring their vessel to us and have everything handled in one place.

Our services include:

✔ Precision stainless steel fabrication and installation
✔ GRP repair and refurbishment
✔ Professional hull polishing and finishing

All delivered under one roof, with a focus on quality, efficiency and attention to detail ⚓

With significantly more space, we’ll be able to take on larger and more complex fabrication projects – including working on full boats and yachts within the workshop.

It’s a big step forward for the business and the type of work we can deliver.
