It's Fire Prevention Week, and we’re proud to support it! 🔥

Good fire safety starts with being prepared: understand the risks, keep escape routes clear, test alarms, and ensure everyone knows what to do if the worst happens. 🚪🚨

Clear, reliable notification is key! When an alarm sounds, people need to hear it, see it, and act quickly.

That’s what our Notification range is all about: sounders, beacons, voice sounders, and bells—designed and manufactured right here in the UK.

🚒 We were excited to join the Vehicle Heavy Rescue - UKRO CPD Event, hosted by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service at Waddington Training Centre yesterday.

The Vimpex team enjoyed delivering scenario-based, hands-on training on their Paratech heavy rescue equipment, which they supply to Fire Services across the UK. The training helped participants to build confidence and sharpen their skills in handling complex heavy vehicle incidents with a casualty-focused approach to heavy rescue.

It was great to collaborate with partners across the sector and support a CPD session that strengthens operational capability and teamwork within the rescue community. To top off a great day, the Red Arrows treated us to a fly-by during one of their training exercises.

Thank you to everyone who attended and got involved in this valuable training day. 👏

Lithium-ion battery fires are rising, with UK fire brigades reporting a 93% increase between 2022 and 2024. This stat is only going to rise as more people move to greener transport alternatives.

Fire brigades will need to extend their fleet of EV Fire Suppression Blankets to keep up with this growing statistic.

Vimpex is the exclusive supplier of Brimstone EV Fire Suppression Blankets, purpose-built to tackle lithium-ion battery fires.

✅ Available in four sizes (Standard, XL, XL extended, 2XL)
✅ Lightweight
✅ Quick to deploy
✅ Designed for safer handling with Kevlar cinch straps, extension poles, and high-vis reflective features.

When every second counts, the DIABLo EV Immobiliser gives emergency services a reliable and simple way to secure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, keeping your first responders safe.

Why DIABLo is important for Emergency Services?
•It lets you immobilise EVs safely, without any risk of high-voltage current
•Includes both Type 1 and Type 2 male connectors
•Simulates the charging process so the vehicle remains immobilised and the brakes stay engaged
•Even when immobilised, 12 V systems (like electric boot release or seats) still function
•Comes in a bright orange “rip-open” pouch so won’t get left behind
•Compact, rugged and UK-manufacture
•Works without batteries or LEDs and is ready when you need it
