We're proud to be continuing our work with Cadent, who have awarded Technica the next phase of Secure Edge works on their network - designing, installing and commissioning new Secure Edge devices across operational sites.

It's a programme that supports the resilience of Cadent's gas distribution network, helping to safeguard the countries gas infrastructure that millions of homes and businesses rely on.

The work is being delivered alongside deltaflare, whose team configures the devices ready for us to install - a collaboration that's been working well across earlier phases.

Credit to Craig Parker, who leads the programme on our side, and to the team delivering it.

We're looking forward to building on the partnership with Cadent and to delivering this next phase to the high standard their teams expect.

🔬Last week, we were delighted to welcome Graci, a Year 10 student from Cleethorpes Academy, to Technica for her work experience placement with our design team.

Throughout the week, Graci gained valuable insight into the design process and developed hands-on experience completing a variety of tasks.

“I loved creating the Cable Block Diagrams and have found my placement really enjoyable and creative. The most valuable part of my experience at Technica has been having people around me who have made me feel safe in the working environment. I also now understand more potential career paths within the engineering sector!” – Graci

It was fantastic to see Graci’s enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn throughout her placement. At Technica, we are proud to support young people in exploring opportunities within the engineering industry and helping to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.

We wish Graci every success for the future and look forward to welcoming more work experience students over the coming months.

Yesterday's annual conference was a real celebration - and a chance to look ahead to what's coming in the next 12 months.

We’re incredibly proud to share the results of our Easter Egg Appeal in support of Women's Aid - North East Lincolnshire💛

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of everyone involved, we collected over 100 Easter eggs to help bring a little joy to women and children during what can be a very challenging time.

Women’s Aid NEL does vital work supporting people in our local area affected by domestic abuse, providing safe spaces, advocacy, and ongoing support.

A huge thank you to all who donated – your contributions truly make a difference.
