Another Glow-Worm Ultimate3 30c Combi installed to manufacturer’s specification.

This one benefitting from a limescale reducer, a Glow-Worm power filter with a built in mesh and magnet and a shock arrestor to help mitigate water hammer & future proof the installation in the event of a water meter being installed.

There’s some great deals on new boilers currently, and this customer ended up getting a higher end appliance for less than Glow-Worm’s standard range.

10 Year parts and labour warranty registered on site and all relevant paperwork completed and handed over to the customer.

A Glow-Worm Energy7 15R heat only installed very recently for a lovely friend & customer in Lee-on-the-Solent.

The customer will also now benefit from a new pump and gate valves ensuring reliable circulation, as well as a robust glow-worm power filter with an integral mesh and magnet for long term, reliable operation of the appliance and system.

It wasn’t the easiest of installs with the boiler being in quite a tight space, a new cable needing to be run and issues with a faulty thermostat at the end, but we got there!

An unvented cylinder installation in Gosport in an all electric property. An electrolytic scale reducer has been installed to protect the elements, and outlets, from limescale formation.

Secondary lever valves fitted to allow for easy isolation of the cold main supply, as well as the hot and the balanced cold in the event of an emergency. There’s also a service valve installed on the expansion vessel to allow for quick, hassle free yearly maintenance.

The immersion at the bottom has been installed with a cotherm pill, a high efficiency thermostat that uses advanced technology to learn your water usage habits so you’re not wasting money on unnecessarily heating up water when not required.

The cotherm pill also automatically undergoes an anti legionella cycle to periodically prevent legionella from growing, as well as offering functions for timed hot water heating, much the same as a typical gas fired heating and hot water system.

Another happy customer that can, with the cotherm pill running on its auto-learn settings, save between 10-20% on their energy bills.

Just another designer radiator installation, this style seems to be the go to choice for many homeowners looking to upgrade the aesthetics of their heating system!

Whilst they are fantastic to look at, many of them can weigh considerably more than a standard radiator, especially the vertical options, and may not be suitable for some wall types.

Another Glow-Worm Energy which replaced an old Baxi that had served its time. We initially attempted a repair based on the manufacturer’s fault finding procedure and technical advice, ultimately however the repair was not successful, as is occasionally the case with this industry and the decision to replace the 15+ year old boiler was taken.

Another cracking install the company is proud to put its name to!

This one is a Glow-Worm Energy, a slightly more compact range when compared the Ultimate, which makes it ideal for kitchens and cupboards!

A new Glow-Worm controller was installed alongside the boiler, optimising their appliances efficiency whilst looking very smart at the same time!

Another Glow-Worm Ultimate installation completed to manufacturer’s specifications in the last week. There was a little bit of jiggery pokery involved with these pipes, but the end result is always the same!

The pipes were appropriately lagged after the photo, due to the installation being in a garage. ☺️👍🏼

Afternoon all,

Trident Gas Ltd has recently completed it's first year trading, of which I have to say, has been more successful than I originally thought it would be, given the first year is always considered to be "the hardest".

So I thought it was about time I made a post to warmly thank my customers, family and friends for their support over this last year. I've had the pleasure of meeting so many new and interesting people, all with their own stories to tell and life lessons to share whilst cracking on with the job, usually when I'm running late of course but that's by the by! 🤣

The term "customer" has always felt a little cold to me, as more often than not, these people end up becoming friends who care just as much for you as you do for them and their issues.

From the customer who loves to chat, the customer that likes to get involved, the customer that wants to hear how everything works, to the little old lady who's just lost her husband but still cares enough to make sure I've eaten my digestives before I leave "because you're looking a bit thin". 🤣

So whichever type of customer you are, I thoroughly appreciate you and I look forward to seeing you again next time.
