It might not be the most glamorous machine on the shop floor, but this is where a lot of jobs begin.

Our Sterling horizontal band saw handles the first cut.
Clean, accurate, and ready for the next stage.

Whether it is bar, tube, or larger sections, getting this part right saves time, material, and headaches further down the line.

You can have the best machines in the world further along the process, but if your cutting is off, everything else follows.

This is used day in, day out across:
▷ Cutting stock to size for machining
▷ Preparing material for fabrication
▷ Processing tube and bar for repeat jobs
▷ Supporting one-off and batch work

Simple job. Done properly. Every time.

If you need material cut, machined, or turned into a finished component, we can take care of it from start to finish.

Some machines earn their place. This is one of them.

Our Cooper CH-25 slotter might not be the newest bit of kit on the shop floor, but it is still one we rely on. When it comes to cutting internal features like keyways, splines, and internal gears, it does the job properly.

Slotting is a process that still matters, especially when you are working on components where internal geometry has to be right the first time.

You will see this kind of work across:
▷ Gear and transmission components
▷ Shaft and hub assemblies
▷ Heavy plant and machinery repair
▷ Tooling and bespoke one-off parts

Modern CNC has its place, but machines like this still deliver where it counts. They give control, feel, and reliability, especially on jobs that are not always straightforward.

It is a good reminder that in engineering, newer is not always better. Proven is!

If you have internal keyways, splines, or awkward internal features that need machining, we can help.

⚙️ Meet the Machine!

This is one of the hardest-working pieces of kit in our workshop.
A press brake that turns flat sheet metal into precise, formed components every single day.

In the video, you can see the machine in action. Controlled, measured, and consistent. The tooling applies force along a programmed line, bending the material to an exact angle without compromising strength or finish.

This is how we produce brackets, enclosures, panels, guards, and other structural parts that fit the first time perfectly.

What makes this machine so valuable?
▶︎ High accuracy bending for consistent angles and repeatable parts
▶︎ Ability to handle a wide range of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
▶︎ Capacity for different thicknesses, from thin sheet to heavy plate
▶︎ Clean, controlled forming that maintains material integrity
▶︎ Efficient setup for both one-off jobs and batch production

Every bend is calculated. Every movement is controlled. That means less waste, faster turnaround, and components that do exactly what they are supposed to do.

If your project involves formed metalwork, this is where it starts.

Not every job is about making something new. Sometimes it is about getting something out.

✅ These threaded extraction pins are built for exactly that.
Removing tight, heavy, or seized components safely and without damage.

Machined from solid steel, with precision-cut threads and a robust shoulder, they are designed to take serious loads. Whether it is pulling out worn bushes, removing press-fit parts, or extracting components during maintenance, these are tools you rely on when nothing else will shift it.

You will see this kind of solution used across:
▷ Steel and heavy industry maintenance
▷ Automotive and plant repair
▷ Tooling and die extraction
▷ Hydraulic and mechanical assemblies
▷ General engineering strip-downs

It is simple. Get a solid thread engagement, apply controlled force, and remove the component cleanly without damaging the surrounding material.

When downtime is on the line, that matters.

If you have components that are difficult to remove, seize in place, or risk damage during extraction, we can design and manufacture the right solution for you.

This is our plate rolling machine. Built to take flat sheet metal and form it into smooth, consistent curves with precision and control.

In the video, you can see the material being fed through the rollers.
Each pass applies controlled pressure, gradually shaping the metal into the required radius without cracking, distortion, or loss of strength.

This is how we produce cylinders, cones, curved panels, and rolled sections that need to meet exact specifications.

What makes this machine so effective?
▷ Accurate radius control for consistent curves across the full length
▷ Suitable for mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
▷ Handles a wide range of thicknesses depending on material and diameter
▷ Smooth rolling process that protects surface finish
▷ Ideal for both one-off fabrications and repeat production

Rolling may look simple. It is not. It requires the right machine, the right setup, and the experience to get it right the first time.

If your project involves curved or rolled metalwork, this is where precision shaping begins.

The Waterjet Cutter, Bringing Our Logo to Life!

📹 In this video, you can see our waterjet cutter turning steel into a crisp, accurate version of our logo. Every line is clean. Every curve is controlled. No burning. No distortion. Just precise cutting.

This is achieved using a high-pressure stream of water mixed with garnet abrasive. The garnet is what gives the jet its cutting power. It allows us to cut through tough materials while maintaining exceptional accuracy and edge quality.

Because it is a cold cutting process, there is no heat-affected zone. That means the material keeps its original properties. No warping. No hardening. No compromise.

What does that allow us to do?
▶︎ Cut intricate shapes with sharp internal corners and fine detail
▶︎ Maintain tight tolerances across complex profiles
▶︎ Deliver clean edges that often require little to no finishing
▶︎ Work across a wide range of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, stone, glass, plastics, rubber, and composites
▶︎ Handle everything from thin sheet to thick plate

You are not limited by material or design - that is where waterjet stands out.

The logo in the video is a simple example, but the same process applies to engineering components, architectural features, signage, and multi-material assemblies.

✍🏻 If you can draw it, we can cut it!
