Automech is expanding, due to continued growth of our fleet contracts we are looking for two technicians to add to the team. Whilst a lot of our work is with longstanding customers who bring their personal vehicles to us we are seeing more and more fleet management work and you will work across both of these.

Based in Gloucester, Automech is one of the largest independent garages in the area with facilities you would expect.

About the Role:

As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining, servicing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. You will need to have excellent knowledge across all areas of the job and be comfortable carrying out all aspects of the role from straight forward service to repair, with first time fix and quality of work at the forefront of everything you do.

Whether you are a Service Technician or Master Technician, we would love to hear from you.

About You:
In order to be successful, you must possess the following:

- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Own Set of Tools
- Full UK Driving License

Air Con at Automech Services….

With spring approaching and the days already getting warmer, did you know we are able to provide a full air conditioning service with both types of gas.

This covers vehicles pre 2017 with R134A and vehicles after 2017 with R1234YF.
• Pre 2014 will be R134A - Costing £66 for a re-gas
• 2014-2016 can be either R1234YF (The New Type) or R134A (Old type gas) - 2017 onwards will all have R1234YF (new type gas) costing £120.

Both of these gases contain UV leak dye to highlight any minor leaks occurring after the service.

Did you know? - We can also carry out an anti-bacterial service to the system at an additional £20 to cure any bad smells coming through the air conditioning system.

If you're having DPF issues, have the DPF light illuminated or have been quote a high price for a new DPF, why not give us a call and we'll advise if our latest piece of DPF cleaning technology can cure the issue.

If you already have your DPF off the vehicle, we are able to apply it to our machine from £180+ Vat, or we'd quote on an individual basis the cost to remove your DPF from your vehicle, cleaning and refitting.
