It’s finally here! ☀️

After a long, grey winter, the sun is finally peeking through the clouds above the hills — the same hills that will once again be conquered during the 2026 downhill racing season by our sponsored athlete, Toby Hacker. Tobias hacker

Following his success last year, we’re delighted to continue supporting this fearless rider for the 2026 race season.

This marks Toby’s 5th competitive season, and his 4th as a Wheatway-sponsored athlete. Currently ranked Xth nationally in the senior category, Toby will be competing in regional and national downhill events across the UK this year.

We wish him the very best of luck for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing him flying down the trails — and hopefully standing on the podium! 🏆

We recently had the pleasure of fabricating a custom bell for Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club in Dursley. The club wanted a durable, weatherproof bell to help walkers safely alert golfers to their presence in areas with limited visibility.

Pictured is Al, one of our former colleagues and a long-standing member of the golf club, who first approached us with the idea.

Thank you to for the superb powder coating work, which will provide long-lasting protection against the elements (and the occasional stray golf ball!).

🏆 WE HAVE A WINNER! 🏆

A huge congratulations to our sponsored athlete, Toby Hacker, who took 1st place at Round 5 of the MIJ Downhill Series in the Forest of Dean this past Sunday!

Coming off an incredible performance at Round 4 of the Pearce DH Series the week before, Toby decided to squeeze in one final race of the season, and what a way to finish!

It’s been brilliant to see Toby achieve his goals this season, showing true determination and dedication the track. We’re proud to support him in his racing journey and can’t wait to see what next season brings.

Huge congratulations are in order for our sponsored athlete, Toby Hacker!

In his final race of the 2025 season, Toby smashed his goal of breaking the top 15, taking 12th place at Round 4 of the Pearce DH Series.

Whilst the 2025 season didn't get off to a great start for Toby, he's gone from strength to strength, achieving personal bests and getting some fantastic results!

It's now back to training for Toby, as he begins to prepare for the 2026 season.

Our dual pin headplates are a quick and easy way to swap attachments between carriers. These S60/S70 and S50/S60 dual pin headplates were custom-made for another local manufacturer who needed a versatile dual interface for two flails.

The orange pin can be unbolted and repositioned to change the pin centre, which, coupled with our unique pin design, allows the headplate to be converted from S50/60 to S60/70.

Thanks to the versatility these headplates offer, they are quickly becoming a popular choice for all kinds of attachments, including our own Gyru-Star screening buckets. And just like our screening buckets, these headplates are

We recently produced this rather unique dual-pin centre headplate for one our Gyru-Star dealers, MPS Southwest.

Not only does this headplate accommodate both 300 mm and 390 mm pin centres, but also two different interface widths. In this instance, it allows the operator to use the same attachment with both their SANY and Kubota excavators, all without changing the headplate.

Our in-house design, fabrication and CNC machining capabilities allow us to produce all kinds of headplates and interfaces in-house. This includes standard 'off-the-shelf' interfaces, as well as completely bespoke products, like this headplate.
