Engineering Collaboration Beyond the Workplace

Bringing our teams together is about more than sharing expertise, it’s about building relationships, exchanging ideas and creating opportunities for the future.

During a recent visit to TBS, design engineers from TBS Engineering Limited and BM-Rosendahl spent time together discussing innovation, collaboration and opportunities across our combined engineering capabilities.

The teams also took some well-earned time away from the office with a visit to Bristol Aero, exploring some incredible examples of engineering innovation, including the iconic Concorde.

As TBS and BM continue to work more closely together, opportunities like this help our engineers share knowledge, build stronger connections and explore how our combined experience can deliver even more for our customers.

Last September, we welcomed Josh Britton to TBS Engineering for a gap year placement before he headed off to the University of Birmingham.

Working alongside Emma White, Josh gained hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, social media, video production, events and employer branding, building skills that will stay with him throughout his career.

Since leaving TBS in May, Josh has been making the most of his summer, travelling across Europe by train and visiting some of the continent's most iconic destinations before university begins.

This autumn, he'll be putting everything he learned into practice in a marketing role promoting student life at the University of Birmingham while studying for his degree.

We're incredibly proud of everything Josh achieved during his time at TBS and can't wait to see what comes next.

A Great Week with Our Italian Aftermarket Team 🇮🇹

This week, it was fantastic to welcome our Italian Aftermarket team to TBS HQ in Gloucester.

The visit was all about learning, sharing knowledge and spending time together. From training with our spare parts team to discussions around our aftermarket strategy, it was a great opportunity to build on the expertise across our global team.

Of course, there was also time to enjoy Gloucester Quays together, with plenty of good food, great conversations and a chance to strengthen the relationships that make working as one global team so rewarding.

A big thank you to everyone who made the visit such a success. Safe travels home—we're looking forward to seeing you again soon!

🤝 Building Connections, Sharing Knowledge

One of the most exciting parts of joining the Rosendahl Nextrom Group is the opportunity to bring great teams together.

This week, members of the TBS Engineering R&D team travelled to Austria to meet with colleagues from BM-Rosendahl for one of our first technical collaboration workshops.

The visit was all about getting to know each other, sharing ideas, exchanging expertise, and exploring how we can continue to support battery manufacturers around the world with innovative solutions and exceptional service.

While our teams may be based in different locations, we share the same passion for engineering, innovation and helping our customers succeed.

As we continue this journey together, we're looking forward to strengthening relationships, sharing knowledge, and building on the expertise that both businesses bring to the battery industry.

This is just the beginning, and we're excited about what comes next.

🏁 TBS Karting Day Recap 🏁

What a great day at our recent TBS Karting Social Event!

It was brilliant seeing employees from across the business getting involved, having a laugh, and bringing out their competitive side on the track.

To help everyone take part, TBS provided the transport to Bristol and covered 50% of the karting cost, making it a fun and affordable day out for the team.

There were some seriously competitive races across both heats, plenty of overtakes, and a few “interesting” driving lines along the way…

Some standout lap times and the final winners:

🏎️ 1st Place Alexander Milner – 40.664 sec
🏎️ 2nd Place Florin Gherman – 41.203 sec
🏎️ 3rd Place Kobe – consistently quick all day
🏎️ Ash Ward and Tyler Bishop also put in some strong performances across the heats

Celebrating Our TBS Sporting Heroes

At TBS, it’s not just what we build at work that makes us proud — it’s what our people achieve outside of it too.

A huge congratulations to George Bareham, who completed the Brighton Marathon this April in an incredible 2:58, raising over £1,000 for the British Red Cross.
