A team photo with a trophy worth celebrating!

TBS Engineering is proud to sponsor this young team, pictured with the shield they won in last season’s MGL U9s League Cup.

Their cup run ended with a brilliant comeback in the final. Trailing 2–0 at half-time, they fought back to win 3–2, showing fantastic determination and teamwork.

This season, they’ve stepped up to the Cheltenham Youth League at U10 level. Stronger opposition is bringing fresh challenges, and while results have been mixed, the players are learning, developing and growing together.

Well done to all the players and coaches. We’re cheering you on for the season ahead!

Celebrating the achievements of our TBS apprentices

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our apprentices at the Gloucestershire Engineering Training Annual Presentation Evening, held at Kingsholm Stadium.

🏆 Luke Modlinski was awarded Best Overall Turner Apprentice and Peer-to-Peer Support.

🏆 Kobe Pope received the award for Sustained Achievement Throughout Their Apprenticeship.

We also congratulate Bailey Kimber, Aaron Ryland, Alex Milner and Kobe Pope, who were recognised for successfully completing their HNC or HND qualifications.

It was a proud evening for TBS, reflecting the hard work, commitment and contribution of our apprentices, together with the support of the colleagues and who help them develop throughout their training.

A huge congratulations to Luke, Kobe, Bailey, Aaron and Alex on these well-deserved achievements, and well done to all our apprentices who continue to learn, develop and make their mark at TBS.

What a week at

Great customer conversations, new opportunities and plenty of laughs made our first event alongside BM-Rosendahl, one to remember.

It was fantastic to see Mark Gardiner, Flavia Grigore, Richard Taylor, Rob Desborough, Justin Lewis and BM teams working so well together, sharing knowledge and discussing how our combined expertise and technologies can create even greater opportunities for our customers.

A huge thank you to the BM team for the warm hospitality and for making our time together so enjoyable. We strengthened relationships, made some brilliant memories and laid the foundations for many more events together.

The future is looking exciting, for our teams and our customers!

Engineering Collaboration Beyond the Workplace

Bringing our teams together is about more than sharing expertise, it’s about building relationships, exchanging ideas and creating opportunities for the future.

During a recent visit to TBS, design engineers from TBS Engineering Limited and BM-Rosendahl spent time together discussing innovation, collaboration and opportunities across our combined engineering capabilities.

The teams also took some well-earned time away from the office with a visit to Bristol Aero, exploring some incredible examples of engineering innovation, including the iconic Concorde.

As TBS and BM continue to work more closely together, opportunities like this help our engineers share knowledge, build stronger connections and explore how our combined experience can deliver even more for our customers.

Different expertise. Shared thinking. New opportunities.

Last September, we welcomed Josh Britton to TBS Engineering for a gap year placement before he headed off to the University of Birmingham.

Working alongside Emma White, Josh gained hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, social media, video production, events and employer branding, building skills that will stay with him throughout his career.

Since leaving TBS in May, Josh has been making the most of his summer, travelling across Europe by train and visiting some of the continent's most iconic destinations before university begins.

This autumn, he'll be putting everything he learned into practice in a marketing role promoting student life at the University of Birmingham while studying for his degree.

We're incredibly proud of everything Josh achieved during his time at TBS and can't wait to see what comes next.

Want to see Josh's journey at TBS? Watch his self-made Day in the Life video to hear about his experience and what he learned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7EnojaNLkg

🤝 Building Connections, Sharing Knowledge

One of the most exciting parts of joining the Rosendahl Nextrom Group is the opportunity to bring great teams together.

This week, members of the TBS Engineering R&D team travelled to Austria to meet with colleagues from BM-Rosendahl for one of our first technical collaboration workshops.

The visit was all about getting to know each other, sharing ideas, exchanging expertise, and exploring how we can continue to support battery manufacturers around the world with innovative solutions and exceptional service.

While our teams may be based in different locations, we share the same passion for engineering, innovation and helping our customers succeed.

As we continue this journey together, we're looking forward to strengthening relationships, sharing knowledge, and building on the expertise that both businesses bring to the battery industry.

This is just the beginning, and we're excited about what comes next.

🏁 TBS Karting Day Recap 🏁

What a great day at our recent TBS Karting Social Event!

It was brilliant seeing employees from across the business getting involved, having a laugh, and bringing out their competitive side on the track.

To help everyone take part, TBS provided the transport to Bristol and covered 50% of the karting cost, making it a fun and affordable day out for the team.

There were some seriously competitive races across both heats, plenty of overtakes, and a few “interesting” driving lines along the way…

Some standout lap times and the final winners:

🏎️ 1st Place Alexander Milner – 40.664 sec
🏎️ 2nd Place Florin Gherman – 41.203 sec
🏎️ 3rd Place Kobe – consistently quick all day
🏎️ Ash Ward and Tyler Bishop also put in some strong performances across the heats
