🐄🐄🚜🚜 Pumping slurry across a road?? 🚜🚜🐄🐄

We were contracted by our client to install a 160mm MDPE pipe using our HDD drill underneath a road to allow contractors to pump slurry through, without the need to close or dig up the road!

In previous years the contractors had run hoses over the road but this proved to be problematic, our solution not only provided a permanent pipe underneath the road but also reduced the farms fuel cost, labour cost and environmental impact when transporting slurry from the tank into other fields.

We used our 200mm reamer to produce the bore hole with a 25m distance from start to finish.

🦺 No concrete was harmed in the making of this post…🦺 This week we’ve been drilling on another dairy farm in Harescombe, 35m pulling back a 50mm Armoured cable and 2x Cat5 data cables feeding the dairy. Another successful job complete!

This week we’ve been busy drilling a 90mm pilot hole over 100m under a road and through a farm yard, drill bit swapped for our 200mm reamer ready for pulling back a 125mm slurry pipe on Monday!
