At LB Bentley, we believe that ESG is about more than environmental performance and governance. It is also about people, communities, and making a positive social impact.
That's why we're incredibly proud of our team of 13 colleagues who recently completed the Tough Mudder 5K challenge in support of ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐, raising an impressive ยฃ๐ด๐ด๐ฌ so far for a cause that touches so many lives. Plus, a special thank you goes to Andrew Skinley, who generously gave his time to support the team and capture some fantastic photographs throughout the day.
Faced with muddy terrain, challenging obstacles and plenty of physical tests along the way, the team demonstrated determination, resilience, teamwork and camaraderie from start to finish. Their efforts reflect the values we strive to foster across our business, supporting one another, giving back to our communities, and creating meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
Supporting causes chosen by our employees is an important part of our commitment to the social aspect of ESG. Through fundraising, volunteering and community engagement, we aim to make a positive difference while bringing our people together around shared values and purpose.
Macmillan Cancer Support provides essential services to people living with cancer and their loved ones, including emotional support, practical guidance, financial advice and specialist care. Every contribution helps ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
We would like to thank everyone who has donated, supported and encouraged the team along the way. Together, we are helping to raise awareness and vital funds for an incredible charity.
