Some jobs don't exactly come with a standard instruction manual.
Take moving a still, for example.
Stuart and Davie recently had the job of cutting down and relocating an old still at Eden Mill St Andrews, moving it from one room to another.
It wasn't something that could simply be lifted and carried through the factory. The job needed careful planning, the right approach and, most importantly, a focus on doing it safely.
Working to the agreed RAMS, the team successfully removed, moved and repositioned the still in its new home.
At the same time, we've now completed the new mezzanine floor, which has been certified by Rackit with a load capacity of 8 tonnes.
It's created some valuable additional space in the factory, and we're now looking at how we can make the best use of it.
Projects like this can cause a bit of disruption along the way, but seeing the finished result makes it worthwhile.
A big well done to Stuart, Davie and everyone involved.
