SCAM ❌‼️‼️ PLEASE READ AND SHARE

As some of you may have seen previously on our page there is an active scammer selling car parts (mainly alloy wheels) through facebook market place using our company details. This person pretends to work for us and fabricates fake invoices etc to persuade people to pay money. Usually once people have payed for the items or if people are still too sceptical he will take a small deposit and send them to us. We have had people travelling from all around the UK to collect parts only to be told it is a scam.

This has been reported to a number of authorities multiple times and we have reported this to meta (facebook) multiple times aswell. The only thing that seems to get his profile taken down is to report it and his listings. We ask if you could please take some time and report this scammers profile and listings on facebook as it seems to be the only way to stop him. ( see pictures attached)

If you were ever to purchase something via Birnam Motor Salvage, we offer card, cash and bank transfer. All bank transfers will come under the account Birnam Motor Salvage LTD, not an individual.
We are in no way associated with these men and they do not work for us.If you have been a victim of this scam, please reach our to the police and to your bank to recover your money. if you have any evidence you'd like to share with us to pass to the police, send us a message.

On a weekly basis we receive phone calls, messages and emails about parts purchased and deposits being taken via I homas Mongan, James Chadwick and various others.Anyone thinking of buying from these men should be aware that they are using our company name and address to take payment for items they do not stock, nor do we.lf you have lost any money as a result of this, please get in touch and we can pass on the relevant crime reference numbers.
