LET GLASGOW FLOURISH

LET GLASGOW FLOURISH Glasgow Arts Collective
is a LET GLASGOW FLOURISH production. The Cover Scotland Sessions
- Our first music project.

With our name taken from Glasgow’s motto, LET GLASGOW FLOURISH is the new home for the best of Glasgow’s creative culture. Having first been set-up as a blog, LGF has expanded to become an Arts Collective, promoting artistic culture in Glasgow through various projects that aims to capture and document the best Glasgow talent. Working in partnership with Ayrshire Community Media CIC, Swan Audio and

kindly assisted by NICE N SLEAZY, our project will see 25 Glasgow-based bands come to our custom built studio in NICE N SLEAZY to each record a cover of an iconic Scottish song off a list of 25 we've made. Each session is being professionally filmed and recorded, to then be uploaded onto our new LET GLASGOW FLOURISH YouTube channel, with the project celebrating and championing brilliant Scottish music both past and present. In Loving Memory of Jane Doe
- Our second project. A theatrical event exploring the links between music and identity, presented as the funeral of the fictional Jane Doe. Being held on 02/04/16 at Saint Luke's in Glasgow, In Loving Memory of Jane Doe is a free entry event which will be filmed by Ayrshire Community Media.
