Our prized apprentice gearbox builder is officially an adult—mature enough to handle gears, tools, and at least half the chaos we throw at you.
While the rest of us are covered in grease, you’ll be celebrating your birthday in Dubai like some kind of transmission-building celebrity. Just remember: even in Dubai, you can’t fix a gearbox with vibes alone.

From the lad who started here at 17 to the torque converter guru who can rebuild one blindfolded and still make it better than new — you’ve come a long way! You’ve probably handled more converters than hot dinners, and somehow still show up every day ready to get covered in ATF again. We’re still not sure what keeps you running — coffee, stubbornness, or sheer mechanical wizardry — but whatever it is, don’t change it. Here’s to another year of precision, bad jokes, and pretending every leak was “already there.”

What You’ll Do:
• Diagnose faults and carry out testing on a variety of vehicles
• Remove and install both automatic and manual transmissions
• Plan and manage repair tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
• Accurately report faults and completed work to ensure a smooth workflow
• Mentor apprentices and share your knowledge with the next generation
• Stay up to date with the latest in automotive and gearbox tech via ongoing training
What We’re Looking For:
• Time-served or experienced in the motor vehicle trade
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical know-how

• Full UK Driver’s Licence (essential)
