Through our Partners LMS, part of the Dulas Life Sciences group, we can offer cooled incubators that offer optimum temperature control from -10°C to +50°C with an average variation of 0.5°C and fluctuation of 0.1°C, or 0°C to +60°C upon request.

Renowned for their quality and longevity, the cooled incubators are used all over the world for a range of bio-scientific needs – from tissue and fruit fly cultures, to enzyme testing and seed storage.

All equipment is manufactured in our own UK factory, which gives us the flexibility to accommodate a range of specification requirements.

World Environment Day 2026

With rising temperatures, collapsing ecosystems, and disruptive weather extremes, humanity stands at a tipping point. But we are not powerless.

The 2026 theme underscores that climate action is not just about reducing carbon emissions—it is about rethinking the systems that power our economies and repairing our relationship with the climate. By doing so, we can secure a safer, healthier, and more just future for all.

At McQuilkin, we have been working with our Carbon Partner Auditel for the last few years to help reduce our carbon emissions by migrating to hybrid and electric vehicles to planting trees.

We appreciate that our daily operations can affect the environment, as well as our customers or suppliers, but we are actively continuing our journey with Auditel on our road towards carbon neutrality.

International Plastic Free Day 2026

Over 380 million tons of plastic is produced every year. Half of all plastic
produced is single-use – meaning it’s thrown away after just one use.

Since only 9% of all plastic gets recycled, most of it ends up littering our
communities, filling our landfills, and polluting our oceans. But did you
know, it takes between 100 to 500 years to degrade, depending on the type of
plastic?

Here at McQuilkin, we pride ourselves on actively working towards a plastic-free
world. We understand it is difficult to move away from single-use plastics, but
offer plastic alternatives i.e. glass products, environmentally friendly products
and can offer simple greener solutions, such as recycling of empty chemical
bottles.
