Freedom One Life Founded by a power wheelchair user, we create next-generation mobility products to allow wheelchair users to live the life they choose.

The founder, Alex Papanikolaou, created Freedom One Life due to the limitations of the stagnant powerchair market which he experienced first-hand. Our vision is to deliver radical change to the market, offering a revolutionary power wheelchair to improve independence and stretch the boundaries of powerchair users. We have done this in 4 key ways:

Performance - we have created the biggest wheelcha

ir battery in the world, delivering a world-beating 40-kilometre range in real-world conditions on a single charge. Our high-efficiency motors deliver triple the power of comparable chairs on the market, and we also have a compact design, ideal for precise manoeuvrability. Reliability and Safety - Our battery has five years of charge cycles, we use premium grade materials to improve strength and stability, and cables and components are completely enclosed, protecting them from damage. Comfort and Convenience - Adjustable ergonomic seating and tilt and lift functions for flexible positioning. We are the only chair in the world to have an onboard, integrated charger. We also use low-pressure, extra-wide rear tyres for a smoother ride. Transportability - 30% lighter than comparable powerchairs on the market, crash-tested, and with accessible lift points for transit.

The Series 5 rear light is something which elevates the chair from your average mobility product to something elegant and cool - a simple thing that every powerchair user deserves.

But beyond being something visually striking, they also serve as an improvement to a common problem in powerchair design. Often, lights on powered wheelchairs will stick out, and are one of the first impact point on doorways and walls, meaning they are damaged and broken regularly.

Having an integrated light strip resolves this problem, and the neatly tucked front lights mean that more durable parts of the chair will take the brunt of any damage or daily wear your chair may experience.

A powerchair that does daily life better is exactly what the Series 5 aims to be. Uneven pavements, sand, indoor spaces and public transport to name a few.
