Some before and after photos from one of our customers in Oban. They were complaining of dirt in their ice. We attended site and serviced the ice machine and cleaned the machine with ice machine cleaner. Make sure your ice is spotless and clean for the nice weather 🌞

Commercial Catering Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer. Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our growing team within the central belt of Scotland. You will be field based visiting customer sites such as Restaurants, Hotels, Hospitals, Care homes, Universities and Manufacturer warranty sites.

As a Commercial Catering Engineer, your key responsibilities will include the service, maintenance and installation of gas, warewashing and electric catering equipment.

Experience Required

COMCAT 1,3,5
Full Drivers License
Relevant experience working on commercial catering equipment
Warewashing experience
Electrical experiance
Refrigeration (not essential)
Package Overview

Basic salary starting from £38-45k
40 hour working week
30 Days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
Van and fuel card
Personal use of van
Smart Phone
Branded uniform and PPE
Company pension
Paid call out rota
Manufacturer training will be provided to the successful candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Weekend stand by 1 in 5

Commercial Catering/Refrigeration Trainee Engineer

WD are a commercial catering and refrigeration service and maintenance provider working within the hospitality sector.

As a Trainee Commercial Catering and Refrigeration Engineer, we will train you to service, maintain, and install gas, electric, warewash, and refrigeration kitchen equipment. This role is field based and will require you to work with an experienced engineer until you are fully trained and able to work on your own.

The qualifications you will receive:

CCCN1
COMCAT 1,3,5
LPG
Electrical Catering Certificate
Fgas
Hydrocarbon

The candidate must have a full UK Driver’s Licence
Any electrical, warewash refrigeration, or gas works would be an advantage

30 day Holiday inclusive of bank holidays

On call rota 1 in 4
£100 Stand by pay for the week when trained
Overtime Rates paid at time and half and double time

We are a successful family run business based in the south-side of Glasgow

We are a busy office with a small team of engineers and need an organised and efficient person to support us full-time in our new office.

Your role: Admin Co-ordinator

You will be liaising with engineers, suppliers and customers on a daily basis. Below are some of the activities:

Key responsibilities

*Planning and logging jobs for the engineers

*Invoicing and quotes

*Dealing with all enquiries via telephone, emails and customers own job systems

*Organising spare parts

*Planning maintenance and service work

What we are looking for:

*Good organisation and effective communication skills

*Strong administration skills

*Able to prioritise effectively

*Able to make decisions but also know when to ask

*Great with people

*Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage

*Experience in Sage accounts and Job Logic system would be an advantage.

Office hours are 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday
