The CGL Systems sponsored Scottish Series 2023 is in full swing!

The Harbour is bustling with more than 100 visiting yachts and, as you can see on our pictures, the bar staff were busy filling their boxes!

The weather has been blended with sun and light rain... and a breeze with some flat calm. But the fleets have all got their races in!

CGL Systems is thrilled to announce, we are now sponsoring the Scottish Series 2023 ⛵

For 40 years, one of our most picturesque coastal towns (Tarbert) has hosted the Scottish Series sailing event, which took place until COVID hit - So, when they approached CGL Systems for assistance with equipment and sponsorship we thought it was a worthy cause.

The great news is that this year will see this all kick off again, and the Scottish Series 2023 will give a significant boost to this rural community, bringing in 150 boats and 1000 people who all need fed, watered, and entertained.

Shown are photos from the harbour and the fleet during the previous pre-Covid event – it looks like the sun is going to be out again this weekend, so we will be sure to post some pictures next week of this exciting event.

CGL Systems is proud to announce the promotion of Rachel King to Project Manager.

Rachel has been with CGL for two years and works within our cladding division under Senior Project Manager Shaun Fallows. Since starting with CGL she has continued to develop and grow her technical knowledge, which allows her to manage many high profile projects with an unflappable manner and complete precision.

We are certain this is just the start of a bright future for Rachel within CGL.

CGL Gutters are thrilled to announce we will be working alongside Central Cladding Systems on their Scientific Engineering Centre project in Longbridge.

We will be supplying approximately 400m of our Insulated Membrane Lined Gutters for this impressive project.

Waters Corporation has been a global leader in analytical instruments and software serving the life, materials, and food sciences for more than 60 years and will bring a new industry-leading precision engineering centre, across 3 acres in Longbridge Business Park.

The move will create over 100 skilled jobs and cement the company’s interests in the West Midlands.

It is always a pleasure working with the Central Cladding Team and we cannot wait to get started on this project.

Easter Weekend is over for another year - why not return from Bank Holiday ready build your technical knowledge on Industrial Gutter Systems through our accredited CPD course.

Approved through the CPD Standards office, attendees should opt in for this detailed and factual course on the complexities of membrane lined gutters and the reasons why they remain a suitable choice for specifiers.

The course is designed to provide additional knowledge on the various industrial gutter systems across both new build and refurbishment of commercial properties, it covers their composition, environment, and dilapidation process.

Participants will range from Building Surveyors to Property Managers or Roofing Contractors to Facility Managers.

The CPD course will benefit anyone working within the dilapidation of roofs & gutters on commercial properties.
