Founded in 1985, Washington Metalworks (WMW) is still a family owned business and now works alongside the biggest names in the Rail, Construction, Automotive and Electrical industries. Our 130,000 sqft site in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, is home to nearly 250 permanent, full time staff. 28 of which, we're

proud to say, are apprentices. We believe strongly in growing our own talent and providing young people in the North East with skills they'll keep for life. We're always looking to bring onboard new talent, including:
