On 13 November 1997, HYDRO Chafer exhibited its new trailed range, the E Series, featuring lighter, stronger booms while retaining stainless steel tanks and hydraulically driven pumps. The E Series also had a modular build, allowing components to be altered to suit specific needs, for example, a larger or smaller tank.
