FABRICATOR / WELDER

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Fabricator / Welder. Skills required - Tig welding process in stainless steel and aluminium. Also, a very good understanding of stick and mig welding. Codings would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided. Work involves maintaining marine vessels, general fabrication and food factory maintenance etc.

• Monday to Friday with overtime as and when required
• Good rates of pay for the right candidate
• Full driving licence is essential

Busy week in the workshop 👏🏻

First up — a solid aluminium frame, fully fabricated and welded by the team 💪

We’ve also had a few machining jobs on the go for one of our renewables clients, including pressure testing blocks for valves and ball bearing housings 🔧

To top it off, a tidy set of gates and a big folding project that gave our press brake a real workout — over 1,200 folds on this job!

Quality work as always from the team 👏 Great effort all round!

Aluminium Job ✅

Walk-over platforms custom-made for one of our clients. We were sent reference pictures and tasked with designing a platform that makes dismantling and erecting simple and efficient.

One of the three platforms was built in the yard — the size is quite impressive when fully assembled, taking up a big chunk of space alongside our other ongoing orders.

All three platforms can be seen disassembled on pallets, ready for collection. Both MIG and TIG welding were used on this project, with 100% NDT testing carried out to client specification — excellent work by the team! 👍

🚀 Another busy week in the workshop!

✅ Custom CNC work – Steel machined block with precision fittings for fuel pressure testing in the energy sector, all completed in-house.
✅ Pipe fabrication – 20mm aluminium pipe rolled, fully welded inside and out, with end caps added and ready for machining.
✅ Staircase upgrade – before & after: brand new galvanized steps, landing, and handrail, all designed, fabricated, and fitted by our team.
