The SCANSTONE elevator is designed to be high enough for tall bulk trailers, and with enough width to reach the centre of the neighbouring beds, so that the trailer wheels are running in the wheel tracks. The elevator is particularly useful when excess stone should be removed from the field, or when it is required for building foundations or farm roads.
