Ritchie was established over 140 years ago as a blacksmithing service to the local community of Gateside in the County of Angus, Scotland. As farming advanced during the late 19th and early 20th Century, traditional blacksmithing skills were replaced with the manufacturing of a small range of innovative implements designed to improve efficiency and reduce labour inputs as horsepower gave way to st

eam and tractor power. This business expansion necessitated relocating from the country into the town of Forfar where Ritchie continued to develop and manufacture products for both the livestock and arable industries. 🚚🚛UK manufacturing facilities and 44 tonnes on the road - not what most people picture at 19 🚚🚛

Working with Ringlink Scotland Ltd , we found Mya Duncan-Walker who, at just 19 and having recently gained her HGV licence, is already gaining experience with one of our bright orange 44T HGVs between manufacturing facilities on overnight runs.
A great example of young people building careers across engineering, logistics and transport.
Mya is also the first female HGV driver to take the wheel of one of our units at Ritchie, something we’re pleased to see as more young people continue to enter the industry through different routes and backgrounds.

Our Combi Clamp package is designed to keep both you and your flock working safely and efficiently. Each unit comes complete with clamp and treadle, lead up ramp with bi fold doors, anti jump rails, auxiliary frame with orange tubs, plus a rubber fitted floor and standard size cushion board to support sheep comfort and control.
