After 23 years, we’re back to blue!

For the past 23 years, we’ve proudly run with our familiar yellow livery, but with the arrival of our newest truck, we thought it was time to bring back blue.

And there’s another milestone worth marking: 2026 is 26 years of choosing MAN for our trucks. A new look, same trusted manufacturer.

Thank you to Andrew Rennie and the team at MAN Truck & Bus Aberdeen for their service as always.

Our latest addition is ready to deliver. 🚛🔵

Double or triple extension ladder? 🪜

Double ladders can be lighter and easier to handle, while triple extension ladders offer greater reach with a more compact closed length.
Which is best for you will depend on the job and the height you need to reach.

Meet Scott!

Scott is our Senior Draughtsman based at our Queenswell Road site and has been an integral part of the team since joining us in January 1996 at just 25 years old. With three decades of experience, Scott has built an exceptional knowledge of our products, processes, and capabilities, which ensures he always finds a solution to your access problem.

Scott visits customers to carry out detailed site surveys, taking the time to discuss their ideas, requirements, and any specific challenges the space may present. Using the latest 3D scanning technology, he captures precise measurements to ensure every detail is accurate before returning to the office to design a completely bespoke solution tailored to each customer’s needs.

He also works very closely with our fabrication team throughout the manufacturing process. If anyone has a question or comes across a problem, he’s always on hand to offer advice and find a practical solution. His experience, attention to detail and problem-solving skills help ensure every project runs smoothly from survey to installation.

Safety starts with us.

Not sure what size step ladder you need?
A good rule of thumb is that your working height is around 2 metres higher than the platform height, making it much easier to choose the right ladder for the job.
Remember:
✔ Platform step ladders – the platform is the highest safe standing point.
✔ Swingback step ladders – never stand on the top three rungs.

Thinking about installing a loft ladder?

Getting the measurements right before you buy can save a lot of time and frustration later. It's about more than just the floor-to-loft height - the opening size, storage space and landing clearance all need to be considered too.

Our step-by-step guide explains exactly what to measure and how to do it.
