About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Agricultural Blacksmith/Metal fabricator to join our Potato Division. You will play a vital role in keeping our customers farming and processing machinery moving. 🥔
* Key Responsibilities :
Fabrication & Repair: , Weld, Fabricate, Install & repair Potato Harvesters, Graders, Conveyors & Hoppers.
* Pre-delivery Inspections (PDI) : Building & carrying out pre delivery inspections on new agricultural equipment before it's delivered to customers. 🛠
* Workshop Operations: Handle general workshop duties, including equipment maintenance.
* Customer & Team Liaison: Work closely with team members & speak directly with customers to understand machine faults or specific build requirements.
What we are looking for: 👀
* Strong Experience in MIG welding, metal fabrication & mechanical assembly.
* Ability to read technical drawings & work independently & as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with the workshop team.
* A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
* An agricultural background or experience with farm machinery is highly desirable.
