Ensure your car is ready for cold and wet winter driving conditions.
Check includes:
☑️Battery - Batteries struggle on freezing mornings. We will test the battery's charge to make sure your car can start and get you where you want to go.
☑️Antifreeze - Essential to check the levels and strength of your antifreeze to prevent the engine's cooling system from freezing.
☑️Tyres - The condition of your tyres will be checked for tread depth and pressure to ensure proper grip on wet and icy roads. A good amount of tread is vital to avoid skidding.
☑️Wiper blades - Wipers are more commonly damaged in winter, blades can freeze to the windscreen, we check for splits and other damage.
☑️Windscreen washers - we check they are operating correctly and the level of screen wash, topping up as necessary. We recommend using a winter screen wash to avoid freezing of fluid.
☑️Light bulbs - With the long dark evenings you are more likely to need your lights for visibility and safety - we will make you aware of any faulty bulbs and can replace these for a small charge.
