Following on from our offshore containers, workshop units are another key part of what we deliver at Ritchie Industrial.
These are designed as fully functional working environments; from containerised workshops to lab spaces, tailored to specific project requirements, including full electrical fit-out and internal configuration.
It’s about taking a structure and turning it into something operational, ready for use in demanding locations.

🚚🚛UK manufacturing facilities and 44 tonnes on the road - not what most people picture at 19 🚚🚛

Working with Ringlink Scotland Ltd , we found Mya Duncan-Walker who, at just 19 and having recently gained her HGV licence, is already gaining experience with one of our bright orange 44T HGVs between manufacturing facilities on overnight runs.
A great example of young people building careers across engineering, logistics and transport.
Mya is also the first female HGV driver to take the wheel of one of our units at Ritchie, something we’re pleased to see as more young people continue to enter the industry through different routes and backgrounds.

We’ve been designing and manufacturing container solutions for offshore use for over 20 years, supporting both end users and hire companies with standard and bespoke builds.
Built to recognised standards with full traceability and certification, these units are designed to perform in demanding environments, whether for transport, storage or operational use offshore.

Work hard, race harder 🏁🚘🚘🏁

Our Ritchie team swapped the workshop for the track recently, splitting into experienced and novice groups for a bit of friendly competition.

Some very close racing, a few good overtakes (and not too many crashes…) meant podium places all round. Safe to say, everyone was smiling at the end and back in the workshop this week, maybe just a little more competitive than before.
