👷‍♂️Last Friday, we hosted another successful roof leak detection demo day at Buckleys.

We welcomed roofing professionals from across the UK, with some attendees travelling hundreds of miles to join us, including one visitor who made the journey all the way from Glasgow! We genuinely appreciate the time and effort everyone invested in being there.

Throughout the day, we demonstrated both the Dry Roof Pro2 and Wet Roof Pro2, explored real-world testing techniques, and shared experiences from across the industry. What stood out most was the level of interest in electronic leak detection. The conversations were insightful, the questions were thoughtful, and there was a real willingness to share knowledge and learn from one another.

A testing result is only as reliable as the methodology behind it.
On a ~35 million L water storage tank project in South Australia, previous testing reported zero defects.

Independent testing using the Buckleys Geo Pro2 identified 39 leak paths across the installed liner system.

The difference came down to one critical factor:
Incorrect earthing methodology.

This project demonstrates why correct setup, operator competency and understanding conductive pathways are essential for achieving valid, reliable testing results.

🔍If Geomembrane integrity is ONLY being confirmed at commissioning, it’s already too late.

GeoQ, acting as an independent third-party provider, completed ELD testing on a landfill cell in Queensland (~22,000 m² over 4 days) using the Buckleys Geo Pro2 Geomembrane Arc Testing Kit.

The objective:
Verify liner integrity before it becomes inaccessible.
