When Training Really Matters
You never know when the skills you've learned will be needed.
Hannah had recently completed her VHF training with us at Burton Waters. On her first long passage in her new boat, they suffered an engine failure.
Thankfully, her training kicked in and she knew exactly what to do.
The RNLI came to their rescue, and Hannah got in touch afterwards to share her experience:
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for the VHF training you provided in Burton Waters. First time out in our new boat on a long passage and we had engine failure. Due to the Excellent training I knew exactly what to do and the RNLI came to our rescue. Should anyone ask for a recommendation, I wouldn't hesitate to send them your way."
