We’ve seen some bodge jobs in our time… but this one is definitely up there! 😳

And, surprisingly, this was carried out by a well-established company.

Apparently, the thinking was that cable-tying a claw onto a pump would do the job… and that the rather questionable pipework repair would last.

Thankfully, they contacted us before things got any worse.

We’ve assessed the situation, got the system safely operating on a temporary basis, and we’ll be returning in the coming days to carry out a proper, long-term repair.

Another temporary fix that’s bought the system some time — but sometimes there’s simply no substitute for doing the job properly in the first place! 🔧

We were contacted for a comparative quotation for remedial work on this foul water pumping station, serving a small apartment block. We carried out a free of charge visit to assess the work required and provided a quotation. The quotation was accepted the same day and we attended today to replace 1 pump and the internal tank pipework. It’s now back to a fully functional condition at a much more cost effective price than they were quoted originally. We have now picked up the on going maintenance

✅ Another wastewater treatment installation successfully completed.

With a naturally high water table during the wetter months, this system was fully encapsulated in concrete to provide long-term stability and protection.

Although it's a straightforward gravity-fed system, it still delivers everything required to meet the standards set by the Environment Agency. To ensure reliable operation and prevent any backflow, we also installed a non-return valve on the outlet.
