The DF65 UK Nationals are this weekend at Bartonā€™s Point. If Jimā€™s managed to arrange the same breeze as last year at Lincoln where all four rigs were used over the two days it should be a cracking event!!

Unfortunately an impending house move means we wonā€™t be there but Iā€™d just like to wish all skippers taking part the best of luck especially those ERA equipped boats šŸ˜œ

Gutted not to be there so hoping some kind hearted souls will be taking lots of pictures to keep us in the loop.

We canā€™t wait for our first order from AA parts to arrive!!

Alberto sent through this picture of one of his Reverso goosenecks fitted in a Proteus V1.6 mid section. Obviously this is way too low in the boat but it does clearly show how much room this clever design allows in the well.

We are currently taking orders for our second delivery expected mid-late June.

Exciting times here at ERA Sails, we are delighted to announce a new collaboration between ourselves and Alberto Spada of AA Parts.

We have just agreed to being the UK distributor for his beautifully engineered, precision RC sailing products.

This all came about as a result of trying to order one of his goosenecks for my new Proteus. Like a lot of people I have been struggling to find a suitable gooseneck/kicker that A. allowed me to get the rig low enough and B. allowed me to have the kicker at a steep enough angle to clear the cockpit without serious customisation. Alberto has a number of products aimed at solving this exact issue.

Alberto explained he was unable to ship to the UK due to the complications brought about by Brexit and the only way to do this was through a reseller or UK distributor, hence ā€œThe Planā€!!

Initially we will be holding a limited amount of stock primarily his new (very clever IMO) reverso gooseneck and a few other IOM specific fittings but plan to extend this over time based on customer demand. We also will be able to special order specific items from his extensive range (www.aa-parts.com)

We have done some initial figures and the ā€˜Reversoā€™ model will retail at Ā£55 plus postage.
