Our employees have been getting in the festive spirit, and wearing their best Christmas jumpers, to help in our continued for Helen & Douglas House.

Over the Christmas period, the Helen and Douglas House team go above and beyond to make our hospice feel like home for seriously unwell children and their families, and its a cause we're proud to support.

🌞 😎 Today was our annual Wellbeing Walk, and we could hardly have picked a better day for it!

We chose to do it this week as it fell between Day and , as having the chance to chat to our colleagues and get some exercise and fresh air is a perfect way to recharge during the working day!

🧁 Today we hosted our first charity bake sale of 2025, raising money for our chosen charity for this year, Helen & Douglas House

The final tally is still being counted, but a big well done to Sharon Barrett for raising the biggest individual amount of £78, thanks to record sales of her legendary sausage rolls!

We will continue to host fundraising events throughout the year, so watch this space!

🤝 💜 We are delighted to announce that we have made a £2500 donation to The Hummingbird Centre. The donation is made up of the sum of all our activities over the last year, which was then matched by a further contribution by the business.

The Hummingbird Centre was chosen as our charity of choice by our employees, and is a and centre in Bicester, who aim to relieve the mental and physical sickness of anyone suffering with cancer, and offer support for their families.

Despite the torrential conditions, we had ten finishers and as we are headline sponsors of this local event, it was great to see our team getting involved and to see a good turn-out overall.

🎂 It's ! And what better way to celebrate the end of the week than cakes!

🍂 Yesterday, we hosted an Autumn Bake Sale to raise money for our chosen charity for this year, The Hummingbird Centre. As you can see below, we had a fantastically varied batch of entries, and we managed to raise a whopping £370.50!
