Defender hinges and parts prepped for. I have done the graphite black to go out in orders. Have spare set for pictures to update my website. Sc4x4.co.uk I’ll post some better pictures when I have them together. Hope gives an insight in what involved in the processes.

Finally finished machining Land Rover Defender front and second-row security door hinges.

These hinges have been built to be smooth, durable, serviceable, and genuinely anti-tamper.

Features include:

• Custom-made nylon bushes for a butter-smooth action with zero play
• Fully greaseable and rebuildable design
• Internal wiring channels through the hinge for clean hidden electrical routing into the best part of the Defender door
• O-ring seals for improved water tightness and a cleaner finish
• Captive mirror mounting holes to suit both UNF and metric bolts
• True anti-tamper design — nothing can be undone from outside the Defender

Finished in Cerakote Graphite Black — the best coating I’ve used. I’ve tried anodising before and it simply doesn’t last. Even basic cleaning products or screen wash can strip anodising, which is no good on a vehicle built to be used properly. Cerakote gives the durability and chemical resistance these hinges deserve.

I wanted these to look right on the Defender — no strange shapes or over-styled design, just a clean OEM-style look built to last.

Defender hinges back in stock soon. It’s a shame all the machine marks disappear when I cerakote them, but it is by far best coating to use. Still have wolfbox arms left in stock if you need one. Hope all the arms have worked well on those who bought. Hopefully be back on sun visor soon and those roof liner blocks if anyone wants them. Sc4x4.co.uk

Defender roof headliner support block. Revision 3, and now works a treat. It must of pulled the head liner up at lease 20 to 25mm. Has helped alot for support and the light switch is petty ridged now. Simple mod to do but done requires you to drill roof braces and install m4 rivet nuts. I can manufacture this if wanted or a little kit of bits needed for modification or just sell the block.

Another revision to the defender sun visor for wolfbox g900 tri pro. This I think looks better and net works better too. My roof is annoying me so I have made a block to rivet nut to roof. it has adjustable slot on base. And the plastic part bolts to original hole in light fitting. Hopefully this pulls the roof lining up and takes any sag out of the roof lining. Sc4x4.co.uk

Bit of prototyping for defender sun shade for wolfbox mirror. I have shortened to angle of wolfbox mirror. I have also taken 1 inch of bottom as my is so low for me. I wanted to have storage as well so added a net to it. Took a bit of working out and revisions. Just need to test fitment again and to one last mod.

Wolfbox bracket arm Finished off cerakote graphite black tonight . I will have 78 of those in stock. I have 12 plain self colour in stock also. Hopefully list them back on website tomorrow. Note the cerakote needs 5 days to fully cure but can be handled after 24 hours. I also have links to wolfbox site to help with right parts ordered. This will help me with wolfbox affiliate program and help me get some recognition. I’d really appreciate if you order anything from wolfbox you order through link. Hopefully I may get some test products and I can keep making things work with the defender over time. Thanks for patience but there done now apart from packing
