A 400m safety cordon is now in place near Exmouth Marina after a suspected unexploded ordnance was dredged from the water earlier today. Homes within the cordon are being evacuated, and residents are encouraged to stay with friends or family where possible.
An assistance centre is open at Exmouth LED Leisure Centre for anyone needing support. Please avoid the marina area and follow instructions from emergency services who are working tirelessly to keep people safe.
